So yeah, after hearing about that "Heartbleed" SSL bug, I've been changing my passwords on numerous sites, this one included.

After noticing that I got mentioned in a comment, and seeing that the users were wondering why I "left," I figured that I'd make a journal to explain WHY I "left" the site and "removed" all of my art (and hid all of my userpage comments.)


One of the reasons I "left" here was because I was just getting tired of using DeviantArt (and by "tired," I mean lack of motivation.)
Heck, I had gone well over a year without doing anything (besides reading my notifications and occasionally responding to comments) before deciding to "leave."

The OTHER reason is that I had just created an account on another art-based site, and I decided to just stick with that site. I've been using it to post 3D model renders and mod screenshots (since those are what I tend to do nowadays.)


So yeah, I "left" because I wanted to take a long break from Deviantart. It had nothing to do with any sort of depression, anger, etc. (In fact, I almost NEVER get upset or angry nowadays.)


P.S. - Because I'm in a good mood, I think I'll go back and make some of my old art viewable again (since I never actually deleted any of them.)
